My East Austin Favorites

I moved to Austin in 2007 for college. After my ~5 years in college (...) I desperately wanted to stay in Austin. I was lucky enough to land a teaching job in East Austin. 2019 marks my 10th year on the east side of Austin. To celebrate my East Austin anniversary, I wrote a little about my East Side favorites. Unless I’m showing a house, it’s rare that I venture far from my house. My new favorite thing is to walk everywhere, even if it seems a little too far. These recommendation are by NO MEANS objective, but they’re also not sponsored. Just my favorite spots to do all the things I do.
